Youth Sports Scholarships

If you have aspirations to compete at the highest level in sport, you could be eligible for a Youth Sports Scholarship - Applications are now open!

This annual scheme is open to City of Melville residents who are aged between 12 and 19 years of age before 1 August each year. If you have aspirations to compete at the highest level in sport you could be eligible for a Youth Sports Scholarship.

The Youth Sports Scholarship Scheme is targeted at athletes in all sports who have represented the State or at a higher level. Consideration will also be given to athletes who are showing potential.

  • Application forms are available from the City of Melville and from the City's recreation facilities in July of each year.
  • All applications must be supported by the appropriate WA State Sporting Organisation. Without their authorisation, the application will not be considered.
  • Applications close on Friday, 26 August 2011.
