The main role of the Community Recreation Team is to liaise with over 120 community sport and recreation groups and clubs within the City of Melville. These clubs play and train on the City of Melville Reserves such as Troy Park, Tompkins Park, Len Shearer Reserve, Melville Reserve etc.

With a number of policies in place including the physcial activity policy and support for sport clubs policy, the Community Recreation Team does its up most best to provide an excellent service to all those involved.

The Community Recreation Team prides itself in ensuring our top class facilities and services allow resisdents and the community to participate in structured sporting competitions and/or unstructured recreational activities within the City of Melville.
