City of Melville and Premier's Australia Day

Do you have what it takes to be the City of Melville and Premier's Australia Day Citizen, Group or Young Citizen of the Year?

The City of Melville is searching for persons, groups or events that have made a noteworthy contribution to the City of Melville during the current year and have given outstanding service to the community over a number of years.

Think about friends, family and residents in your neighbourhoods that deserve recognition. Acknowledge those amazing community members who contribute their passions, skills time and energy by nominating them for a City of Melville and Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards.

The three categories include Citizen of the Year; Young Citizen of the Year and Community group or event of the Year, and the winner of each category receives $400.00 and their nominator $100.00 for their chosen City of Melville - based charity.

The Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony and the announcement of the Awards winners, is held in Centennial Park, Bull Creek in conjunction with the Lions Club of Bull Creek Australia Day Breakfast. This event attracts over 1,000 people and provides the perfect setting to acknowledge our Australia Day Citizens and community group of the Year as well as new citizens taking their citizenship.
