Introduction to Citizenship
The City of Melville conducts Australian Citizenship Ceremonies every two months at the Civic Centre 10 Almondbury Road Booragoon.
All new citizens are officiated by His Worship the Mayor, Russell Aubrey. Certificates will be presented to all new Australian citizens at the ceremonies. The certificate will become legal proof of your Australian citizenship.
You will also be able to complete an electoral enrolment form which registers you on the electoral roll and allows you to vote. At the ceremony, you will also make a pledge to receive citizenship.
