The City of Melville provides a range of free immunisation services to children, adolescents and adults
As of the 1st January, 2012 the public will be required to book an appointment for the Immunisation Clinics that are held by the City of Melville once a month. All vacciantions will take place in the Civic Square Library in the Ann Reid Room. To make an appointment please call 9364 0275.
Please note In order for us to provide swift service on the day patients are asked to contact the Central Immunisation Clinic for all their questions priot to attending the clinic.

The City of Melville has not conducted the School Immunisation programme since November 2007. All queries in relation to this program after this date should be directed to the Department of Health Immunisation Clinic on 9321 1312. For queries regarding vacinations administered at school to children prior to November 2007, please contact City of Melville Health Services on 9364 0279.
Primary school children at 12 years of age receive a TOTAL of two HEPATITIS B vaccines spaced four months apart. In addition a single dose of diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough Vaccine (BOOSTRIX) is administered as well as the chickenpox vaccine (VARILRIX). If a child has already had chicken pox they do not need the vaccine. If you are unsure if your child needs this vaccine check with your local doctor.
Please note that these vaccines are available to school schildren at the above City of Melville Immunisation Clinics.
The City of Melville also provides free Influenza and Pneumococcal vaccines to any person aged 65 years of age or over at the above locations. The Pneumococcal vaccine is administered every 5 years.
