Public Art refers to works of art that have been planned and executed with the specific intention of being staged in the public domain.  The City of Melville art strategy focuses on creating a sense of place and identity through enhancing the urban environment to celebrate Melville’s great history, culture and sites.

Artists and creative activity contribute to the built and natural environment enhancing the urban space.
