Sculpture Walk

Exhibitions of site specific artwork throughout the City.

Sculpture Walk 2012

The Exhibition will take place at Wireless Hill Park, from 25 February to 11 March 2012.

The City of Melville Sculpture Walk was introduced at Piney Lakes Reserve in March 2004 as part of the Festival of Melville. In 2009 the exhibition went on tour and has since taken place at a new venue each year.

In preparation for the exhibition, participating artists look at the location in many different ways - its shape, its history, its imaginary potential, its function and its human interactions - and interpret these aspects of the site to stimulate, excite, create interest and generate discussion.

The City of Melville aims to acknowledge and encourage both amateur and professional sculptors and increase the knowledge and appreciation of art amongst the local community.

Wireless Hill Park, Telefunken Drive, Ardross.
