Heathcote Cultural Precinct, situated on the site of the former Heathcote Mental Reception Home in Applecross, is now a heritage listed public open space, and features a museum & contemporary gallery, artist studios, a Challenger Tafe campus, various community facilities as well as a world class restaurant, and one of the most popular & award winning playgrounds in the metropolitan area.
