What we offer
This Community Centre operates seven days a week as a venue for community activities.
Blue Gum Community Centre offers two halls with a fully-equipped kitchen. The Centre is not available for one off events, parties or private functions.
How to Book the Venue
All bookings in the Blue Gum Community Centre are subject to fees. Please check the Fees and Charges to determine costs that maybe associated with placing a booking.
Once a booking application has been received (please note that all bookings must be received at least two weeks prior to the event), your application will be reviewed and we will be in contact with you.

Art 'n' Soul - Art of Life and Music Book Stories
Cyberbullying : commit to your child's online safety
Children are exposed to online content in their preschool years. Behaviours like cyberbullying begin at primary school. Peer pressure can cause poor online decisions for many teenagers.
Free Hearing Checks by Hearing Life
Free checks last fifteen minutes, followed by recommendations from the therapist.
Youth Drop-In at Blue Gum Community Centre
Date: Thursdays during school term
Time: 3pm – 5pm After school programs for young people on Thursdays during the school term. Join us for a new program for young people running every Thursday after school starting in week 2 on Thursday the 8th of February. Young people aged 9-17 can come have a snack, play sports or board games, watch movies and more, all for free. The program is run by the City’s experienced team of Youth Engagement Officers and mirrors the success of other programs at locations throughout Melville. Membership required, forms available on the day.
