Make a toilet roll radio
Explore the world of electronics and build a 'toilet roll radio receiver' (crystal set) based on a cardboard tube, similar to a toilet roll, that actually works and you get to take home to keep.
This is a fun introduction to the world of electronics presented by Richard Rennie and the City of Melville Museums and Local History Service. Special 'High School Students' session - Tuesday 5 October 2010: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
Costs: $6/ person (component costs for the radio receiver). Special 'High School students' session - Tuesday, 5 October 2010: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Extra sessions available in the afternoons if response exceeds morning sessions.
Thanks to the Vintage Wireless & Gramophone Club for their support of this event.
