Background 

I grew up in the UK where I completed my schooling and University.  I arrived in Melville via stints working in the mining industry in Chile, Argentina and Peru.  I live in Palmyra with my wife Lisa and my two daughters.


Professional Experience 

 I have a degree in Engineering Geology and post grad qualifications in Geophysics and sustainable development.  I am also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I have worked in the mining industry all my professional career specialising in water management and sustainable development.  Currently I am a Manager with Rio Tinto based here in Perth.

Outside of work I have been a board member of Community Vision Inc, an intergenerational human services organisation, now I am a Councillor I have given up this role but still have to take an interest in Melville’s human services projects.

 

Interests 

I follow the Western Force, try to make my garden grow, read books and be a Dad.
