Background

It's time for a change!  I wish to offer a fresh elected member face to Melville. 

I have a comprehensive knowledge of local government and how council infrastructure works being a City employee for 38 years and the Director, Technical and Planning Services. I'm now a successful Consultant Engineer assisting numerous metropolitan councils.

I'm married to Judy, living in Bull Creek, with children Matthew and Amanda. In a lifetime as a Melville resident I've been a member of  Rotary, Rostrum, Melville Hockey Club, All Saints P & F; I'm currently a member of  Melville Glades Golf Club and support  RAAF Association, Friends of Bullcreek Wetlands and  Voluntary Clubs.

Important issues:

  • Justification of rates
  • Tighter financial control
  • Greater community consultation
  • Reduction of traffic congestion
  • Management of bushlands
  • Solutions for SMRC waste composting facility.
