Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (UNSW)
Master of Laws (LLM) in Public International Law (Murdoch)
1999-2007: Senior lawyer with the United Nations, working on missions in Kosovo (UN Office of Legal Affairs), Gaza (UNRWA), and Beirut (UNIIIC) and at UN headquarters in New York in the Office of the Under-Secretary-General for Management and establishing the UN Ethics Office.
Prior to joining the UN, Melissa was a lecturer at the Murdoch University School of Law and before that, the solicitor in charge at the Bunbury Community Legal Centre.
