Throwing or dropping litter, even unintentionally, is an offence according to the Litter Act 1979. The Keep Australia Beautiful Council has a Litter Reporter Scheme where littering associated with vehicles can be reported. Rangers are also able to investigate incidents of Littering/Illegal dumping where evidence of an offender is provided. Customers can register at Keep Australia Beautiful Council WA Customers may also fill in a KABC Litter Report card (available from the front counter) which is then sent to the Keep Australia Beautiful Council for action. Customers are able to report littering from cars to your local council, by providing them with the same details.
