Canning Highway Banners
Have your say! The City of Melville is calling on residents to tell us what they think of the Canning Highway banners.
We are keen to hear from everyone who lives, works, plays, learns or invests in our City for their input on ways we can improve things.
Since 2001, the City of Melville has displayed banners along the Canning Hwy in Applecross. The banners have changed every four to six weeks to coincide with civic events and public holidays, including Australia Day, Labour Day and other relevant occasions such as Christmas and the City of Melville Art Awards.
Currently, nine sets of banners rotate during the year. All banners are removed during winter months to prevent storm damage.
The banner program is currently under review and we would like to find out your opinion about the effectiveness of these banners, including their location.
Until Wednesday, 31 August, we want you to tell us about the impact of these banners in the community, their location and let us know any ideas you have about other options.
