Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.59 of the Local Government Act 1995 for the City of Melville gives public notice that it proposes to commence the following major land transactions being:
Lot 9 (241) Leach Highway and Lot 100 (109) North Lake Road, Willagee The subject land comprises Lot 9 Leach Highway, being Certificate of Title Volume 1243, Folio 663 and Lot 100 North Lake Road, Willagee being Certificate of Title Volume 1926 Folio 967 Lot 9 fronts Leach Highway has residential dwellings on its western and southern boundaries. Lot 100 has a frontage to North Lake Road to the east, Leach Highway to the north and Moorhouse Street, Willagee to the south. The street addresses of the properties are 241 Leach Highway and 109 North Lake Road, Willagee. A copy of the business plans may be inspected at the City's Administration Centre at 10 Almondbury Road, Booragoon WA 6154, at any City of Melville Library or by viewing the PDF, below. Lot 15 (67) and Part Lot 180 (69) Canning Beach Road and Part Lot 181 (2) Kintail Road, Applecross The subject land comprises Lot 15 on Diagram 25797, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title Volume 1263 Folio 121, Part of Lot 180 (Certificate of Title Volume 1229 Folio 177) and Part Lot 181 (Certificate of Title Volume 870 Folio 197 covering an area 2100 square metres more or less with frontage onto Canning Beach Road and Kintail Road, Applecross. Part Lot 300 (10) Archibald Street, Willagee The subject land comprises Part Lot 300 on Deposited Plan 48936 as contained in Certificate of Title Volume 2607 Folio 498. The land is the former Carawatha Primary School Site and the street address of the property is 10 Archibald Street, Willagee. A copy of the business plans may be inspected at the City's Administration Centre at 10 Almondbury Road, Booragoon WA 6154, at any City of Melville Library or by viewing the PDF, below.
Submissions in respect of the proposed land transactions should be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer by 4pm Friday 6 March 2009. Submissions should be in writing marked “Submission – Business Plan Lot 9 (241) Leach Highway and Lot 100 (109) North Lake Road, Willagee”, “Submission – Business Plan Lot 15 (67) and Part Lot 180 (69) Canning Beach Road and Part Lot 181 (2) Kintail Road, Applecross” or “Submission – Business Plan Part Lot 300 (10) Archibald Street, Willagee”. Council will consider all submissions received prior to deciding whether or not to proceed with each proposed land transaction.
