Flexible Work Arrangements

At the City of Melville we are open to discussing and reviewing work schedules to ensure we can support your needs while continuing to meet business needs.

 

Purchased Annual Leave

We recognise that you may want to take additional annual leave from time to time to spend more time with your family and friends. We provide the opportunity for you to apply for up to an additional 6 weeks annual leave per year to ensure there is more than enough time for your rest and relaxation. 

 

Free Professional Counselling service

The City of Melville provides additional support for all employees and their families. If you are an employee at the City of Melville you can access with complete confidentiality one of two independent external professional counselling services.

 

Free use of Fully Equipped Gyms

City of Melville has fully equipped gyms free for your use to ensure you keep you work life balance in perspective. The gyms are open before, during and after work. 

 

Generous Superannuation

In addition to a generous 9% superannuation contribution, if you contribute an additional 5% or more, the City of Melville will match your own contribution up to an additional 5%

Free Parking

The Civic Centre and Operations centre have large car parking areas available free of charge, and free staff parking is available at all other City venues.
